Cardiotext Publishing, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a small independent print and digital publisher specializing in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Their cardiology books, aimed at allied health professionals and physicians, cover the areas of electrophysiology, cardiac anatomy, ECGs, congenital heart disease, heart failure, and other topics in cardiac medicine.

In addition to commissioning authors for projects, Cardiotext Publishing publishes custom medical textbooks and ebooks for industry, societies, or clinics used for training, marketing or establishing a brand. Their clients include St. Jude Medical, Medtronic, Society for Vascular Medicine, and University Hospital Zürich.

Since it became a participating publisher in 2010, we have received 45 books from Cardiotext, and we have published reviews of 36 of them. In the past year, we’ve received five of its titles and have published reviews of four of them. Four of Cardiotext’s titles were selected for Doody’s Core Titles 2017, just published at the end of May, and one was designated an Essential Purchase in Cardiac Surgery.
