Garland Science, a part of the Taylor & Francis Group, has been publishing scientific books for almost three decades in the fields of cell and molecular biology, immunology, genetics, and protein sciences. Their books include such classics as Molecular Biology of the Cell, 6th Edition, Essential Cell Biology, 4th Edition, and Janeway’s Immunobiology, 9th Edition. Their books are available in electronic format in the United States and Canada, and are in the process of being made available in electronic format in other regions.

Garland Science became a participating publisher in Doody’s Review Service in 1995. Since then, we have received 50 of its titles, and have published reviews of 31 of them. In the past year, we’ve received nine Garland titles and published reviews of four of them, with two currently out for review. Doody’s Core Titles 2016 features nine Garland titles, three of which were selected in two specialties, and two of which were selected as Essential Purchase titles.
