For the past 10 years Doody Enterprises has been fortunate to have as Chair of the Editorial Review Group in Cardiology, Christopher J. White, MD, FSCAI, FACC, FAHA, FESC, Professor and Chairman of Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center and Medical Director of the John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute. He recently stepped down, having served more than three times the 3-year commitment we ask of our Chairs.

Dr. White is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. He has been elected to Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology, the Society of Vascular Medicine and Biology, and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is President of the Society for Cardiac Angioplasty and Interventions (SCAI) and served 10 years as Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions.  He is codirector of “Peripheral Angioplasty and All That Jazz,” now in its 20^th year, one of the largest live-demonstration courses for cardiologists wishing to learn more about the endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease.  He has also authored more than 250 peer reviewed manuscripts and abstracts, five books (information on all of which can be found at the Doody’s Review Service website), and 43 book chapters.
