The first installment of our 2025-26 Doody’s Special Topics List covers menopause and perimenopausal care. This curated list of valuable resources is aimed at health professionals supporting women and gender diverse individuals through this midlife transition. It includes authoritative clinical guides, interdisciplinary perspectives, and research-informed insights, both traditional and contemporary. Diversity and inclusivity are a point of emphasis, highlighting the varied menopausal experiences across race, class, culture, and ability. Broader contexts such as workplace impact, relationship dynamics, and historical perspectives extend the scope beyond clinical management to societal and cultural dimensions. The nature of menopause and its effects is multi-faceted, so it is our hope this list that can equip librarians to build collections that can support healthcare providers, patients, and researchers seeking to navigate and better understand this pivotal life stage. 

This Doody’s Special Topics Lists comprises 48 titles from 25 publishers. The prices for these titles range from $9 to $250, with an average cost of $54.34.
