Dr. Wesley Davis has served as the Editorial Review Group Chair for Emergency Care since September 2021. Since then, Dr. Davis’s group has reviewed five titles in this specialty. 

Dr. Wesley Davis is an emergency nurse practitioner with over two decades of clinical experience. He currently serves as the emergency and acute care NP with the Crook County Medical Services District. In addition, he recently served as an assistant professor at the University of South Alabama College of Nursing and adjunct faculty at the University of Wyoming Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing. 

Dr. Davis completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, and both his Master of Science in Nursing and his Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of South Alabama. He currently serves as the president of the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners, works with the Health Policy Committee at the the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and maintains a content and subject matter expert role at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. 

He is an engaging speaker and published author, widely recognized through various professional awards, including the University of South Alabama College of Nursing Alumni Society’s Emerging Alumni Award and the Emergency Nurses Association’s Frank L. Cole Nurse Practitioner Award, and distinctions, including Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing and Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
