Dr. Manar Jbara has served as Editorial Review Group Chair of Cardiology for Doody’s Review Service since August of 2021. Dr. Jbara oversees a large group of reviewers from East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. Of the 115 books we’ve sent, Jbara has coordinated 89 of them, with 76 reviews being published. 

Dr. Jbara is an invasive cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at East Tennessee State University. He is also associate program director for the cardiology fellowship at the university. Dr. Jbara completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiology at East Tennessee State University before joining the faculty in 2020. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiac computerized tomography (CT).  

Aside from the general diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of cardiology, Dr. Jbara has a special interest in preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. He works with students, residents, and fellows daily to develop cardiac care in East Tennessee and has published papers in multiple journals. Dr. Jbara enjoys spending time with family and friends in his free time.
