Since 1933, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press has published books, journals, and electronic media to further the advance and spread of scientific knowledge in all areas of genetics and molecular biology, including cancer biology, plant science, bioinformatics, and neurobiology. It is a division of the private, not-for-profit Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, an innovator in life science research and the education of scientists, students, and the public. Since its founding in 1890, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory has been home to eight Nobel Prize winners and now employs 1,100 people including 600 scientists, students, and technicians.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, one of our newest participating publishers, began sending us books in July 2018. Since then, we have received 13 of their new titles and we have published reviews of six of them. Notably, those 13 titles represent 11 different specialties. One Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press title was selected for Doody’s Core Titles 2018.
