Borm Bruckmeier Publishing occupies a rather unique niche, producing pocket books and pocket cards in all areas of medicine. More recently, it has begun transcribing all of its publications to digital format, with many now available as apps for Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) and Android. The company was founded in 1992 in Munich, Germany, by two physicians, Dr. Philipp Borm and Dr. Andreas Bruckmeier. In 2001, the company established U.S. operations with headquarters in El Segundo, California. It began sending us their titles shortly after that and, to date, we’ve received 161 pocket guides and pocket card sets. In the past year, we’ve received six of their titles and have published reviews of three of them.
