No Comments on Specialty Profile: Dementia 16
The first installment of our 2024-2025 Doody’s Special Topics List series focuses on dementia.
While dementia is typically associated with aging, it affects individuals across a wide variety of ages, identities, and places. Most people are just a degree or two away from someone affected by dementia. Due to its prevalence, it is essential for libraries to curate comprehensive resources for clinicians, caregivers, and patients with dementia. This Doody’s Special Topics List does just that. From care guides to activity books, this list offers librarians a place to begin or grow their resource collection, whether it be to educate clinicians, or guide family and loved ones who are often at the front lines of dementia care.
This Doody’s Specialty Topics List comprises 66 titles collected from 32 different publishers. The prices of these titles range from $10.99 to $249.99, with an average cost of $58.76.
