The American Psychological Association, founded in 1892 with 31 members, has since grown to be a leading scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the U.S., with more than 157,000 researchers, educators, clinicians, consultants, and students as its members. 

Since our last profile in 2016, APA has sent us 174 of their titles. Several APA titles come as new additions to Doody’s Core Titles 2024, including Testifying in Court: Guidelines and Maxims for the Expert Witness, 3rd Edition, Brodsky (APA, 2024) and Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care: Step-By-Step Guidance for Assessment and Intervention, 3rd Edition, Hunter (APA, 2024).
