Dr. Yen Dang has been reviewing for Doody’s Review Service since September 2020. She has reviewed 17 books in that time in coordination with our Editorial Review Group Chair for Pharmacy, Dr. Patrick McDonnell. One of Dr. Dang’s reviewed titles is featured on Doody’s Core Titles 2024 as is also an Essential Purchase Title, AHFS Drug Information 2024 (ASHP, 2024). 

Dr. Dang is a Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and the Chair of Kinesiology. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed a specialized residency in ambulatory care at Temple University School of Pharmacy. Her practice site is located at Chesapeake Healthcare in Princess Anne and Pocomoke, MD. Dr. Dang is also certified as an immunization provider and sits on the Statewide Advisory Commission on Immunization and the Maryland Medicaid Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. She serves as the Director of Global Health at the School of Pharmacy and enjoys giving back to the community through medical missions to underserved areas.
