He has co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, as well as a physiology textbook (Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews: Physiology). This two-authored textbook is now in its second edition, has been translated into eight languages, and is a Doody’s Core Title selection. Dr. Wilson initially wrote the book to fill the gap between choppy tome reference books and bullet point texts used for board review, as a highly visual approach coupled to a continuous narrative was missing from the field.
