Health Administration Press (HAP) and Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) are longstanding partners and serve as the publishing arm for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The AUPHA/HAP imprint focuses solely on publishing books and journals in healthcare management, servicing over 40,000 ACHE members for more than 40 years. 

HAP started as a participating publisher in 1995, just two years after Doody’s Review Service began. Since our last profile in 2016, HAP has sent us 109 books. Doody’s Review Service has published 42 reviews of these selected titles. 16 HAP titles appear on Doody’s Core Titles 2023 with 6 Essential Purchase Titles such as Futurescan 2023: Healthcare Trends and Implications (HAP, 2023) and Leading with Your Upper Brain: How to Create Behaviors That Unlock Performance Excellence (HAP, 2022).
