Motor Learning and Development, Third Edition, combines two subdisciplines of motor behavior to prepare students to create, apply, and evaluate motor skill programs for people of all skill and development levels. It explores movement patterns throughout the human life span, including the influences of life transitions and individual and sociocultural constraints. The third edition has been updated with new information about skill classification, assessment of gross motor development, sociocultural constraints, developmental models for instruction, and program design. Online learning tools in HKPropel include over 90 videos of people of various ages completing motor tasks in order to demonstrate fundamental motor skills and motor milestones.
