This is an update of a Publisher Profile we published in 2015. You can read the original profile here.

Plural Publishing is a leading publisher in the field of speech-language pathology. In the two decades since its founding, the publisher has expanded their reach significantly, serving peer-reviewed material in audiology, special education, otolaryngology, and many more specialties.

Plural Publishing has collaborated with Doody’s almost since its inception, starting in 2005. Since our last profile in 2015, Plural has sent us 295 books and we’ve published 112 reviews of them. Of those selected titles, 42 appear on Doody’s Core Titles 2023, with 18listed as Essential Purchase Titles, including Culturally Responsive Practices in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, 2nd Edition, Hyter (2023), Assessment of Communication Disorders in Adults: Resources and Protocols, 3rd Edition, Hegde (2022), and Neuroanatomy for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, 2nd Edition (2020), authored by our Speech, Language & Hearing Editorial Reiew Group Chair, Dr. Matthew Rouse.
