Over the past year, we have received 25 titles in the specialty of Gastrointestinal Surgery, with 14 of those titles having been reviewed. The books range in price from $79.99 to $299.99, with an average cost of $161.99. Doody’s Core Titles 2020 features 17 Gastrointestinal Surgery titles from six publishers, including seven titles from Springer. Two core titles, Shackelford’s Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, 8th edition, Yeo et al. (Elsevier, 2019) and Current Surgical Therapy, 13th edition, Cameron and Cameron (Elsevier, 2020), have been selected by Librarian Selectors as Essential Purchase titles.
