No Comments on Editorial Review Group Chair: Carol E. Agana, MNSc, RNP, APRN, BC 211
Since Carol Agana began serving as Editorial Review Group Chair for Nursing Pharmacology in mid-2015, we have sent her 45 titles. Remarkably, she has reviewed 41 of them herself, far exceeding our request that Chairs get reviews of two-thirds to three-fourths of the titles we send them.
Mrs. Agana has been on the faculty at the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville since 1998 and has taught pharmacology since that time. She also wrote and teaches an online advanced pharmacology course in the graduate nursing program at the U of A. She has been a nurse practitioner since 1975 and is certified in Adult Health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Mrs. Agana is involved in faculty practice at the Community Clinic of Northwest Arkansas, a Federally Qualified Health Center, as a community-based healthcare provider. She also leads a study abroad program for students in community health nursing to West Africa annually. Early in her nursing career, she had work experience in emergency care, critical care, and medical-surgical nursing.
