Founded in 1993, Caister Academic Press specializes in publishing books and ebooks in microbiology and molecular biology. Currently, it publishes around 15 new titles each year including reviews, practical manuals, and references for research scientists, postgraduates, and bioscience professionals. The full range of titles includes microbiology, molecular biology, virology, biotechnology, and PCR.

We began getting books from Caister Academic Press in 2006 and, since then, we’ve received 141 of their titles and published reviews of 63 of them. In the past year, we have received eight Caister titles, and so far we have published one review, with more still out for review.
