Over the last 12 months, we have received 42 Urology titles from six publishers and have published reviews of 22 of them. Most of the titles we received were monographs published by Springer, but we also received the third edition of Dr. Gomella’s The 5-Minute Urology Consult (Wolters Kluwer, 2015). Dr. Gomella’s book is also among the 12 Urology titles selected for Doody’s Core Titles 2015 and is one of the two Essential Purchase titles. The other is the four-volume textbook, Campbell-Walsh Urology, 10th edition, Wein et al. (Elsevier, 2012). Prices of the 42 titles we have received over the past year ranged from $35.00 to $249.00, with more than two-thirds costing in excess of $100.00, for an average price of $119.29.
