The largest university press in the world, Oxford University Press dates its origins to 1478 and opened a New York office in 1896. It has been participating publisher in Doody’s Review Service since our beginnings in 1993, sending us almost 3,700 titles since then. In the past year, we’ve received 223 of their titles in 61 specialty areas in clinical medicine, nursing, and allied health. We have published reviews of 83 of these titles, with 60 currently out for review. Doody’s Core Titles 2014 features 88 OUP titles in 42 specialty areas, with 18 designated as Essential Purchase Titles.
