Nearly 100 years in the making, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is the premier pediatrics medical publisher, consisting of 67,000 pediatricians committed to the optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being of all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. 

AAP is one of Doody’s Review Service’s earliest contributors, dating back to 1993. Since our last profile in 2016, AAP has sent us 194 books. Doody’s Review Service has published 90 reviews of these selected titles. 19 AAP titles appear on Doody’s Core Titles 2023 with eight Essential Purchase Titles such as Pediatric Clinical Practice Guidelines and Policies: A Compendium of Evidence-based Research for Pediatric Practice, 23rd Edition (AAP, 2023).
